The late magician's life was celebrated as family and friends mourned him during a private service at Chilterns Crematorium
Paul Daniels’ coffin was adorned with a picture of his beloved wife and a handwritten note along with a silver wand as the late magician was carried into the funeral today.
Shortly after 12:15pm this afternoon, a hearse pulled up outside the Milton Chapel at Chilterns Crematorium nestled in the serene valleys of rural Buckinghamshire.
The famed master of magic's ivory-white coffin, complete with two smiling joker playing cards on the side, was adorned with a bed of red roses and a silver wand which lay snugly atop a blue suede pillow.
Amongst the posy of rose petals sat a tribute card from Mr Daniels' radio presenter wife, Debbie McGee, which contained a photograph of the widow with a heartbreaking handwritten message: "Love you always, Debbie xxx."
As the mourners prepared to take their seats, the ivory-white coffin marked with two joker playing cards was carried into the chapel.
As the sun shone bright above the trees and golden beds of daffodils, scores of mourners made their way into the Amersham-based crematorium to pay their respects to the iconic British entertainer.
Debbie led the mourners at the crematorium dressed in black with black leather gloves, wearing a bright blue scarf, and smiled as she greeted family and friends who had joined her to say goodbye to her beloved husband.
