Police Officer Shot Dead in Court Premises by Suspect He Was Escorting to Trial

The police man was shot dead by a suspected robber at the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court, South Africa, today. Who asked not to be named, said the police officer was escorting the suspect to court.

Emergency services declared the officer dead on the scene. Police said they would comment on the matter at a later stage.
