Kenyan Doctors Successfully Perform First Surgery Of Conjoined Twins In Africa

It was a joyous moment as the conjoined twins who were successfully separated at the Kenyatta National Hospital on November 2, 2016, finally got to see each other face-to-face for the first time since the delicate surgery.

We recalls that a team of 50 Kenyan doctors successfully separated the twins; Favour and Blessing, whose lower backs were fused, in a 23-hour surgery.

The twins have been recuperating in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.
