Nigel Farage celebrates Donald Trump’s election shock as he hails ‘the year of two great political revolutions’ - TheSun

Donald Trump’s new BFF looked a picture of happiness as he attended an election bash at the US Embassy in London today.

Nigel Farage couldn’t contain his delight as the billionaire tycoon blazed a trail to the White House this morning.
He said Trump’s near-certain victory will be “bigger than Brexit”.

Speaking outside the US embassy as the news filtered through, Mr Farage told ITV News that 2016 would be the “the year of two great political revolutions”.

He added that Mr Trump has been so successful because “the political class is reviled across much of the West”.

The former Ukip leader was flown into the US by the American businessman to help him beef up his debating skills during the TV clashes with Hillary Clinton.

Farage, well respected for his debating prowess, has been brought in by The Donald after the presidential showdown this week gifted a boost to the Democrat’s poll rating.

The MEP’s debating prowess came to the fore in the UK in April 2014 when he trounced then Deputy PM Nick Clegg in a debate on the EU.

Farage walloped the then Lib Dem leader with 69 per cent of viewers calling the debate for the ex-UKIP leader.

David Cameron also famously refused to debate with him only agreeing to appear on the same programme.

Farage has been angling for a post on the Trump team for months, likening the bombastic businessman’s fight for the White House to Brexit.
