All Saints star Nicole Appleton reveals her son Gene, 17, HATES it when she performs the saucy song Bootie Call

It's one of All Saints' most sauciest music videos.

However, Nicole Appleton, 43, has admitted on Wednesday instalment of This Morning that her son Gene, 17, is not a fan of their hit single, Bootie Call.

Appearing alongside band-mates Shaznay Lewis, Melanie Blatt and Natalie Appleton, the singer confessed that her teen child is constantly left cringing at the thought her performing the tune.

The band-mates, who are now all doting mothers, were asked if their children were supportive about their hugely-successful careers.

And while they all revealed that they were, Nicole hilariously confessed that her son Gene - who she shares with ex Liam Gallagher - hates it when they perform a particular song.

Nicole revealed: 'Gene hates when we do it Bootie Call. He always says "Mum! Why do you have to do that!'

However, she went on to reveal that all their children 'hang out together at gig and have the best time on the tour bus.'

Meanwhile back in 2016, All Saints released their album Red Flag, and it's first single from the album, One Strike, appeared to focus on Nicole's split from Liam Gallagher.

In a statement announcing their 2016 reform, Shaznay said of the new single: 'When I write, I just think about what's on my mind. The lyrics came from somewhere very real.

'Nic was going through a lot of things at that time. That was at the forefront of my mind because it was the heaviest thing going on.'

Recalling their conversations, Nicole added: 'We spoke for hours and hours on the phone.'
