Emmerdale fans go wild as actress Emily Head reveals her father is Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Anthony Head

She is a successful actress known for her roles in The Inbetweeners and Emmerdale.

And fans went wild after soapstar Emily Head revealed her very famous parentage in the form of Buffy The Vampire Slayer actor Anthony Head.

The 29-year-old Rebecca White actress made the surprising revelation when she shared a photo of herself posing up with her famous father, 64, at The Muppets Take The O2 show earlier this month. 

Cuddling her Little Britain star father, who has a cameo in the show alongside Pepe the King Prawn, the blonde beauty wrote: 'When your dad is as cool as mine is, you get to do some pretty cool things.  

'Like meeting The Muppets. And watching your dad perform with them live at The O2. 8-year-old me would be so jealous.'

Also in the photo was Anthony's younger daughter Daisy, 27, who is also an actress. 

Fans went wild at the news with one writing 'where have I been? how did I not know @emily_head's dad is b***dy' Giles!' while another added 'very cool dad to have Emily.'

Another tweeted: 'oh woww' while another added: 'that's a very cool dad to have Emily.'
