US Governor Honours Nigerian Singer, Declares October 6 “Wizkid Day”
Popular Nigerian singer Wizkid now appears to be the biggest export in the history of the country’s music industry, as he officially has a day named after him in Minnesota, called ”Wizkid day.”
The afrobeats star got recently honoured in the United States by the governor of Minnesota, Mark Dayton, when the 6th of October was declared Wizkid Day.

The city of Minnesota announcing October 6th as national @wizkidayo day in Minnesota.The only other artist that has this in Minnesota is @Beyonce .This is History that just made itself being that Minnesota is still predominantly an oyinbo state and wizkid is an African artist.
