Danny John-Jules looked in high spirits on Monday morning as he was seen for the first time since it was claimed he had launched into a furious tirade after his departure from Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.
The Red Dwarf actor, 58, was pictured chatting animatedly on the phone whilst clad in a green dressing gown as he attempted to stop his his wife Petula Langlais' car being towed.
Despite his chirpy demeanour, the actor has been at the centre of several controversies this week, allegedly dubbing the Strictly judges 'imbeciles' in a furious post-show rant as well as reportedly screaming at professional partner Amy Dowden in 'bullying' behaviour that left her in tears.
Yet Danny only had one thing on his mind as he dashed out the house on Monday, stopping his wife's £50,000 Range Rover being moved.
As Petula pleaded with the drivers not to take the vehicle, Danny dashed out into the road to see if he could help, and was successful in his bargaining.
Using his newfound dancing skills from the BBC show, Danny then put on an impromptu performance in the street after council workers were persuaded not to take the Range Rover away.
Danny must still have been on a high from managing to prevent his girlfriend paying a hefty council fine as he later sent out a series of gushing tweets about his professional dance partner Amy.
