Nigerians returning home, support development, Tinubu tells compatriots in Japan

President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigerians in the diaspora to leverage their expertise and resources to build a stronger nation. During an interactive session with Nigerians in Japan, Tinubu highlighted his administration's achievements and reaffirmed his commitment to economic growth.

The President emphasized that true leadership combines vision with practical solutions to achieve stability and unity.

He noted that Nigeria is "back on the rise" driven by strategic thinking and decisive action, citing improvements in passport processing and ongoing reforms to attract investment and expand capital markets.

Tinubu urged Nigerians abroad to consider opportunities at home, stressing that their contributions are crucial to national development. He encouraged them to serve as ambassadors, promoting Nigeria positively in global engagements, and warned that negative portrayals harm development efforts.

The President assured the diaspora community that economic fundamentals have been stabilized and reforms are underway to spur investment and create jobs. He emphasized that development is a shared duty involving government and diaspora citizens alike.
