Brenda Money, 61, was working at the Memorial Hospital in Woolwich, south east London when she began diverting petty cash money into her own account.
Her husband David, 64, then laundered and helped spend the money his wife had taken from her bosses, with the pair splashing out on holidays to Turkey, the Caribbean and Hawaii, as well as shopping sprees in John Lewis and Marks and Spencer.
Mr Money was jailed for 15 months today at Woolwich Crown Court after he was found guilty of acquiring criminal property to the value of £164,000, following an investigation by NHS Protect.
Mother-of-two Mrs Money was jailed for 30 months in March of this year after she was found guilty of fraud by abuse of position.
The couple's personal bank statements revealed a lifestyle way beyond their official income.
Between January 2010 and October 2011 they spent nearly £12,000 on grocery deliveries from Ocado, more than £11,000 at Marks and Spencer, and £3,000 at John Lewis.
