#BokoHaram launch attacks in #Taraba

Suspected Boko Haram members the Army defeated at the Sambisa forest are reportedly wrecking havoc in Taraba State.

It is reported they left their sanctuary and set for Taraba where they guise themselves as cattle herders to carry out attacks.


These include several violence on residents of Bali and Gassol Local Government Area.

Taraba South Senator, Emmanuel Bwacha, said the insurgents were attacking areas mostly in the central parts of the state.

"I just want to bring to the notice of the entire nation that the displace terrorist  from Sambisa forest are finding a safe haven in Taraba State," Bwacha said.

"The nation must know that these people are been transported from the forest to mostly central Taraba."

He meanwhile noted that the recent concern by the National Human Right Commission (NHRC) and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on the welfare of some Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs).



These have reportedly been abandoned in some states due to the present of the suspected terrorists who frustrated the state government efforts to address the problem.

In his remark, the Senate President Bukola Saraki, noted the observation and called the attention of security agencies to the issue Bwacha raised.
