An ambulance was called to the Celebrity Big Brother star’s 5* hotel room in Majorca yesterday afternoon when she began struggling to breathe without an inhaler.
The 22-year-old was admitted to the nearest hospital for immediate medical treatment and spent four hours with doctors before being discharged.
A source said: “Stephanie went to hospital yesterday for an asthma attack. She didn’t have her inhaler.
“She's had an up and down week with all the stress that’s going on and it’s being presumed that was the trigger.
“An ambulance was called and she spent four hours being treated, but she’s now back at the hotel and recovering. She’s healthy, but heartbroken.”
Stephanie’s hospital drama comes as her CBB co-star lover Jeremy confessed to cheating on her with 19-year-old dancer Caroline Pope.
He was forced to make a dramatic U-Turn on his initial denial after CBB winner Scotty T revealed the pair's affair to The Sun.
Jeremy admitted on the Ireland Today show: “I went out in Newcastle, I ended up with a girl that night.”
However, he insisted the one-night stand did not count as cheating, adding: “I don’t make excuses, what happened that night was when I got evicted you get personal appearances so I went out in Newcastle.
"[Stephanie] had a boyfriend. We were going to talk when she got out. But I was with someone that night.
“I didn’t deny it, it just happened at the time and I didn’t say.
“In my head, Stephanie had her own issues. She was talking to Sam at the time and trying to sort things out. We were both single.”
