Woman tells #fiancé she never wants #sex again and he can sleep with OTHER women - but he vows to stand by her

Amy Ford, 24, used to be a "sex maniac" with labourer James but says the thought of him touching her after she had his twin boys "creeps" her out

Telling the man you are to marry that you never want sex again sounds like the quickest way to break it off.

But that is what Amy Ford, 24, has said to the fiancé she adores.

The couple used to make love up to six times a day and admit they were “like sex maniacs”.

That became history after Amy had twin boys nearly two years ago.


Now she is terrified her childhood sweetheart James Merrick will tire of their sexless life. To make him happy, she has even told him he can sleep with other women.

But labourer James, 25, says he is not interested in anybody else and has vowed to stand by Amy.

He said: “I told her I’m not in a relationship with her just for sex.

“We lost our virginity to each other. She is the one and only person I have ever slept with. She’s the mother of my children.”

A survey by website Netmums revealed 44 per cent of mums don’t ­enjoy sex after a baby and 3.6 per cent haven’t had sex in more than a year.

Amy said: “Now even the thought of James touching me creeps me out.”

Before kids, the pair used to spend each spare minute under a duvet.

They also got a thrill from making love at the beach, on country walks and on a golf course.

But the birth of Marley and Harvey in May 2014 changed everything.

The only time she ­agreed to try, sex was so painful for Amy that they had to stop.

She has since been ­diagnosed with dyspareunia, meaning painful intercourse.

Her GP referred her for tests to find the cause but no physical disorder was found. It is thought the reason might be psychological.

She said: “I love James so much and don’t want to lose him. I feel so guilty I can’t give what he wants.

“I have said to him that if he really needs it that bad, then I would be happy to find him a woman to sleep with so he can get some release.

“It would be somebody I trusted but not a really close friend.

“But James said I was being stupid. He said he didn’t want anybody apart from me.

“I completely trust him not to cheat but I worry he will start to resent me.”

James says he is highly sexed - but vows he will never cheat on Amy.

“She said she’d find me another woman I could have sex with but I don’t want that,” he said.

“I love her for who she is. I’ve got the date we first got together tattooed on my arm. I will never stop loving her.”

When she went off sex, he asked her if she was having an affair.

“I thought she had to be having it off with someone else because I know my Amy and there was no way she could go that long without sex,” he said.

He said abstaining from sex has been tough but added: ”I just hope that good things come to those who wait.”
