Fr Mbaka denies saying #Buhari won't recover from ear infection

Enugu-based Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has denied he said President Muhammadu Buhari would not recover from the ear infection he suffered recently, Vanguard reports.

The fiery cleric said the carriers of the alleged claims were only trying to strain the cordial relationship existing between him and the President.

According to him, “‎our attention has been drawn to a report in a section of the media alleging that Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria said that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has slim chances of surviving from his ill health.

“Fr Mbaka referring to the said media report during his prayers for the sick in the ministry with the worshippers of the ministry prayed for Mr President’s healing and health after which there were lots of testimonies from the sick that were healed of blindness, elephantiasis, deafness, cancer, tumor and others at the end of the prayer session.”

It would be recalled that Fr Mbaka was alleged to have claimed that Buhari’s chances of recovery may be slim but that with prayer, he would receive healing.

Mbaka claimed that several efforts to reach people close to Buhari over the vision had been unsuccessful, as they refused to pick his calls.

"Such people hate everything about the President", he said, while narrating the vision which he claimed to have seen before the President’s present trip to London.

Mbaka said that in the vision, Buhari was critically ill and was being flown abroad for treatment.

President Muhammadu Buhari came back to Nigeria after spending 10 days in the United Kingdom for medical treatment according to News24.

The doctors, who examined the president’s ear infection in London cleared him to travel back to Nigeria.
