Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright deny claims they've had a 'turbulent first year of marriage'... as rumours continue to swirl about their romance

She's tirelessly insisted she hasn't been wearing her wedding ring because of fears of losing it during filming. 

And after a source close to Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright revealed there may be an element of truth to rumours their marriage is on the rocks, the couple have once again spoken out to shut down the claims.

'It's been a turbulent first year and they've been apart much more than they've been together,' the anonymous insider told The Sun.

A major difficulty for the couple was alleged to have been their hectic schedules, with the source saying, 'Things between them are pretty volatile'.

'When you add it up they're just not sharing time, a bed, meals, days out, or chilling together the way couples need to.'

Michelle has been hard at work filming for the ITV drama Tina and Bobby in Manchester, while Mark has been at home in Essex.

Mark's representative said: 'This is a fabricated story from a mysterious unknown "pal". Yawn.'

However, filming for the show has finally wrapped and just last week, Michelle expressed her joy of being able to spend time with her husband.
