Congratulations are in order! ‘Saturday Night Live’ alum Abby Elliott and ‘House of Cards’ writer Bill Kennedy have tied the knot, and in the most perfect way possible. See the pics and get the scoop on their lovely Connecticut nuptials right here!
On Sept. 3, Abby Elliott and Bill Kennedy had the picture perfect wedding in a church in Connecticut. The Saturday Night Live alum and her House of Cards writer hubby looked oh so sweet in the adorable black and white photos of the occasion posted to Instagram by Abby’s Odd Mom Out co-star Jill Kargman. “Ode to joy!” she captioned an absolutely perfect pic of the two. Amen! Just look at how beautiful Abby is in black and white!
The 29-year-old’s father, Chris Elliott, walked her down the aisle. He’s another SNL alum star, and looked so happy to be giving his beautiful, and equally hilarious, daughter away. The celebration was planned by Martha Stewart Weddings, who also shared a photo of the bride and groom, revealing that Abby’s wedding dress was a lace and tulle design by Leanne Marshall. The red, white and blue themed reception was held at the bride’s parents home in Connecticut. How fun!
Abby and her new hubby got engaged in October 2015, after meeting on the set of the comedy Sex Ed. Bill wrote it and she starred in it — a match made in heaven. Next up for Abby is the comedy Better Off Single with Lauren Miller, Aaron Tveit and Kal Penn. But let’s hope she doesn’t take that title to heart, given her newly changed relationship status.
