Leslie Jones Returns To Twitter After Vicious Personal Hack — Excited Fans Welcome Her Back

Whoa! Leslie Jones has returned to Twitter! After a hiatus from the social media site, following the extremely disturbing leak of her personal info online, one of our fave comedians has returned. And we aren’t the only ones freaking out!

Leslie Jones, 48, came back to Twitter on Sept. 3, less than two weeks after hackers leaked her personal info, including nude photos, online. The Ghostbusters star made her return with a hilarious video of herself watching The Golden Girls that afternoon. In the clip, you can see the show’s opening credits and hear the catchy,

“Thank You for Being a Friend” theme song playing, while Leslie shouts, “I don’t care what nobody say, these b*****s make me laugh no matter what the hell is going on. For real!” Well, that’s one way to come back!

Fans were freaking out to see the first tweet from the comedian since the hack on Aug. 24, which exposed private materials, like Leslie’s driver’s license, passport and nude photos. The leak happened a month after she almost quit Twitter over several racist users who wouldn’t stop trolling her. CLEARLY, the Saturday Night Live alum has not been able to catch a break recently, but it looks like she’s not gonna let it keep her down. And fans are LOVING it.

Though everyone is happy and laughing now that Leslie is back, the FBI is still taking the matter that led to her leaving very, very seriously, and are on the hunt to find out who violated her privacy. Ever since the major hack in 2014 that exposed the private information and pictures of celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence, 26, and Rihanna, 28, no one is lying down on the job. Glad to have you back Leslie! You sure had a lot of friends waiting for you.
