These are tragic schoolgirl Paige Doherty 's chilling last moments as she entered John Leathem's deli before being stabbed 61 times in a "frenzied" attack.
Paige's body was found in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, on March 21 after she failed to turn up for her part-time hairdressing job two days earlier.
In new CCTV footage released after Leathem, 32, admitted the murder, 15-year-old Paige can be seen entering the deli at around 8.20am – and never coming out again.
Throughout the rest of the footage, Doherty is seen frantically running to and from his car before retuning to his deli later in the evening, calming unpacking his shopping.
Leathem admitted murder at the High Court in Glasgow this morning and will be sentenced later today.
The 4ft 8in schoolgirl went missing after a sleepover at a friend’s home in Clydebank on Friday, March 19, and was last seen buying a sausage roll from Leathem's shop 'Delicious Deli'.
A post-mortem found she had suffered “sharp force injuries” to the neck.
Paige's body was found with 61 individual stab wounds, including 43 to the head and neck.
A further 85 minor wounds, such as scratches, suggest Paige tried to fight off her killer.
Her mum Pamela Munro, during a moving eulogy at Paige's funeral service, said: "Her death's been so tragic and unbearable but its also done a lot for many people and it amazes me that it's all down to everyone pulling together for this little angel."
"Sleep tight little lady. See you again one day in heaven. Love you forever,"
