Thankfully, we’re happy to report that Sylvester Stallone, 70, is ALIVE and well — and even posted a silly Instagram picture to prove it after CNN’s alleged hoax. CNN reportedly took to Facebook to share a photo of the actor being wheeled away on a gurney in a body bag, which was later confirmed as FAKE and photoshopped. Still, fans were FREAKING OUT left and right over the Rocky actor’s rumored death. Check out their reactions!
Someone confirm or deny if Sylvester Stallone is dead. I refuse to believe what I saw.— kenny (@KenLavertue) September 3, 2016
Like most of you, we were also questioning the authenticity of CNN’s alleged report that the actor was found dead in his Los Angeles home. CNN reportedly took it one step further by posting a picture of Sylvester in a body bag on Facebook! Upon closer inspection, fans noticed that the picture looked photoshopped or altered on some way. It was concluded that the Sylvester death story was just a HOAX used for click bait. Not cool. Who would joke about something like that?OMG! #SylvesterStallone is dead?— Fariha Munir Shah (@FarihaMunirShah) September 3, 2016
And just in case you needed more evidence that the iconic actor hasn’t hung up his boxing gloves yet, check out his active Instagram! The Rocky star has been posting selfies since the viral scandal broke out on Sept. 2. In one of the photos, Sylvester is taking a silly selfie with his gorgeous daughter, Sofia. In the next, he’s flexing his muscles alongside the light heavyweight champion, Sergey “Krusher” Kovzalev. Please no more death hoaxes, guys, our hearts can’t take it!
