She recently took on the hosting role of Meet The Parents, where parents try to score their kids a date with a potential suitor.
But while she plays cupid on the ITV show, Holly Willoughby admitted that her first meeting with husband Dan Baldwin's mother did not go so smoothly.
The TV personality, 35, took to Instagram to recall the embarrassing moment she first cooked a meal for her hubby's mother - going make-up free for the candid clip.
Talking with her face straight to the camera, the This Morning presenter showed off her clean and glowing complexion for all to see.
With her hair swept back into a loose ponytail, the bubbly blonde proved she is just as gorgeous without a scrap of cosmetic help as she left her clear and smooth skin on full display.
Talking personally to her followers in the clip, Holly could not help but flash her trademark beaming smile as she looked back on the disastrous moment she cooked for her now-husband Dan's mum.
She confessed: 'I thought I'd cook something really nice for her because she's Italian, so an incredible cook.
'So I decided to make this potato dish, and it was meant to have rosemary in it, which I went and picked from the garden.'
Admitting she felt smug with herself for doing such a good job, Holly then giggled at the camera as she revealed how it all went wrong.
She continued: 'Then we bit in to it... and it tasted really perfumed and really disgusting. It turned out I hadn't actually picked rosemary, but I'd cooked with lavender instead!'
