'I’m not wearing a box yet!': Strictly Come Dancing's Ore Oduba worries another knock to his manhood could jeopardise his chances of winning - MailOnline

He has taken a couple of unfortunate blows to the nether regions during Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals.

And Ore Oduba, 29, told The Sun that he needs to stay focused in order to prevent one false move from cutting short his ballroom experience.

Describing suffering further injury as inevitable, Ore told the publication: 'I’m quite clumsy. You know with me there’s always a chance I could injure my package and it could get in the way.

'As of yet – we have survived. I’m not wearing a box yet.

'Touch wood – excuse the pun – I won’t have any more below the belt drama and I’ll remain unscathed.'

His package might have been bashed against a pole and prodded by an umbrella prop, but Ore revealed wife Portia isn't overly worried about his member taking more punishment.

The star recently admitted appearing on Strictly and marrying his beloved wife were long-held ambitions.

Speaking on This Morning, he said: 'From age 11, all I wanted to do was get married. I just thought if you are lucky enough to meet someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, you've won.'

However, his standout performances have come at the expense of spending time with Portia, who he wed last year.
