....and pink for the VERY glitzy funeral of celebrity hairdresser Herbert Howe, complete with Rolls-Royces and stretch limos making last journey from his 'Bling Building' salon
Jennifer Ellison, Claire Sweeney and Danielle Lloyd led the famous mourners at the glitzy and colourful funeral of celebrity hairdresser Herbert Howe on Friday.
The stars huddled under hot pink and black umbrellas emblazoned with the hairdresser's name as they watched the arrival of the white lacquer coffin laden with pink and white flowers and accompanied by a convoy of a dozen vehicles including stretch limousines, Rolls Royces and luxury coaches.
The hairdresser and keen charity fundraiser, who died aged 72, last week, was laid to rest at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral at the service attended by friends, family and the public.
Among Herbert's closest celebrity friends to arrive in the convoy was actress Jennifer, who appeared in a sleek long black coat and with her blonde locks twisted into a stylish wrap-around French braid.
Herbert's closest friend Pete Price, who described the hairdresser as 'the brother he never had' and who spoke at the funeral, wore a black shirt and trousers paired with a striking hot pink and black print blazer, in keeping with the colour theme chosen by Herbert's family.
Claire and Danielle also kept to the theme, with Claire arriving in a furry black coat over a black playsuit, emblazoned with a pink and blue pattern.
Danielle, meanwhile looked teary in a black coat, leather trousers and a bright pink scarf.
Clutching the funeral programme, she blew a kiss at the hearse as it went by.
Pete, Jennifer and X Factor star Ray Quinn, who was dressed completely in black, accompanied the celebrity hairdresser's family into the great hall on Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral as Herbert's coffin was carried by six pallbearers wearing black suits and pink ties.
