It has been revealed what Lt. Col. Muhammad Abu Ali said to his soldiers before he was killed by Boko Haram in an ambush on Friday night.
The gallant Lt. Col. Abu Ali was killed by the dreaded Boko Haram terrorist, alongside four other soldiers on Friday in an ambush and the death of the commanding officer has also affected one of his soldiers Ayo Adebayo, who took to twitter to pay tribute and to reveal the commander’s last words.
Col. Abu Ali was the Commanding Officer, 272 Task Force Battalion at Mallam Fatori in Northern Borno. He died in confrontation with suspected Boko Haram terrorists who attacked 119 Battalion, Nigerian Army location at Mallam Fatori on Friday, in a failed attempt to capture the town.
Ali, a recipient of the Chief of Army Staff Award for exceptional bravery and excellence, led the army units that recovered Gamboru-Ngala, Baga and several communities from the terrorists.

News24 reported that Lt. Col. Abu Ali will be buried on Monday.
President Buhari has said that the sacrifices of fallen officers and men in the war against terrorism in Nigeria will never be in vain.
