With just months to the 2019 general elections, President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the position of Vice President Yemu Osinbajo is threatened.
Daily Trust reports that the president stated this at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Friday while hosting a delegation of the Conference of Nigerian Female Parliamentarians.
While the president has indicated his interest to seek reelection in 2019, it is not yet officially confirmed whether he will run with his Vice.
But while responding to the demand of the group for a female vice president of the country, Buhari jocularly said:
The President also urged the delegation to disabuse the minds of other female politicians from their belief that men are aggressive.
