Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner has been slammed for posting a 'disgusting' meme mocking Princess Diana's death.
The choreographer took to his Instagram on Thursday to share a photo of the Queen looking at Megan Markle during last weekend's Royal Wedding.
However, the image was captioned with a joke about Princess Diana's car crash - causing followers to brand him 'inappropriate' and 'disgraceful'.
Underneath the photo of the Queen and Prince Harry's new bride were the words: ''When you're plotting a car crash but remember you already used that idea once before', followed by a laughing-crying emoji.
Only making the post more shocking, Jason then wrote in his own caption: 'How long do you reckon Markle has?'
The image was met with huge backlash from his 7,552 followers, who immediately branded him 'inappropriate', 'disrespectful' and 'not at all funny'.
One wrote: 'Disgusting and inappropriate post', while another added: 'I've seen this go viral and horrified anyone would find this funny or RT it **'
Another furious user said: 'Those poor boys lost their mother in a tragic accident and had to share their grief with the world. Lovely to see them both happy !!!! Abosulety hate this post . Liked you up till now. Keep your disgusting opinions to yourself.'
While further followers said in their droves: 'Not at all funny when 2 son’s unnecessarily lost their Mother. Have lost all respect for you now - after that remark, you've lost a follower and fan of yours.'
'Absolutely disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourself. You would be the first one to moan if anyone said anything offensive towards you. SHAMEFUL....'
