Hollyoaks' Sarah Jayne Dunn wows in a strapless gown as she's joined by Jodi Albert, Carley Stenson and Ali Bastian at her stunning wedding to Jon Smith

Sarah Jayne Dunn and long-term love Jon Smith were married at The Holford Estate in Plumley, Cheshire on the scorching early May Bank holiday.

The Hollyoaks actress, 36, told OK magazine how it was love at first sight when they met at the audition for the theatrical adaptation of Birdsong five years ago.

Clad in an ivory beaded fishtail strapless gown, the soap beauty displayed her sensational shape as she cuddled up to her new husband while surrounded by her former co-stars.

She told the publication: 'I knew Jon was the one for me the first day I met him. After we met at my audition I texted Carley Stenson: “I have to get this job because I need to get to know this guy!”’ 


Jon echoed her sentiments that it was love from the early stages. He said: ‘I honestly think I fell in love with Sarah the first day I met her.’

Best known for her role as Mandy Richardson in Hollyoaks, it is no wonder her co-stars Danny Mac, Carley Stenson, Ali Bastian and Jodi Albert - as well as Jodi's Westlife heartthrob husband Kian Egan - watched the couple marry.

The lovebirds were also joined on the big day by their 21-month-old son Stanley at the sprawling estate of 130 acres.
