'He's the best husband!' Loved-up Meghan gushes about Prince Harry

Meghan has declared Prince Harry to be the 'best husband' during her visit to Cheshire today.

The Duchess of Sussex, 36, was filmed speaking to well-wishers as she conducted a walkabout in Chester.  

In a clip shared on Twitter, she can be heard greeting fans shouting out her name as she walked past.

Fan Sharon Briscoe, 61 - who had traveled about 25 miles east from Chirk, Wales, to catch a glimpse of Meghan - is then heard asking her how she was enjoying her new life with Harry. 

'It is wonderful,' Meghan told her. 'I'm really enjoying it.' 

When Sharon told her to 'give our love to Harry and to look after him,' the Duchess replied: 'I will do. That means an awful lot to us. He's the best husband ever.'

The well-wisher added that the new Duchess 'looked radiant', to which Meghan said, 'That's so kind.'

Commenting on her conversation with Meghan, Sharon said: 'She seems so genuine and really warm and not rushing with people.'

The Duchess is conducting her first official royal engagement without her new husband today, and her first joint appearance with the Queen. 

Hundreds of well-wishers waving Union Jacks have lined the streets of Chester in order to catch a glimpse of the pair.
