CBB winner Ryan Thomas is ecstatic as he reunites with daughter Scarlett

Celebrity Big Brother winner Ryan Thomas was overjoyed on Wednesday as he enjoyed a long-awaited reunion with his daughter Scarlett.

The 34-year-old former Corrie actor, who shares the nine-year-old with his ex Tina O'Brien, filmed a video as he collected his beloved girl from school during which she dropped her school bag in delight and ran into his arms. 

Earlier in the day, Ryan spoke on Channel 5's Jeremy Vine chat show, where he revealed the appearance was preventing him from seeing Scarlett yet admitted he was hopping straight on a train to enjoy the post-school reunion.

Ryan's time in the house was marred with controversy after his co-star Roxanne Pallett caused ructions when she accused him of 'repeatedly and deliberately punching' her - however she later quit the house and admitted she was wrong.

During his TV appearance on Wednesday, he he was grilled over whether he would meet up with Roxanne for 'a cup of tea' to hash out their issues, however he ruled out the meeting and admitted his focus was seeing his Scarlett.

The excited star delightedly said: 'I cant wait to get home, I'm picking her up from school you're keeping me from my daughter! That's the next leg of the journey. So looking forward to getting back to normality.'

Having hopped on a train home, he then posted the incredibly sweet clip of their reunion, in which he captioned the shot: 'Complete'.
