Ant McPartlin's ex-wife Lisa Armstrong defiantly puts her wedding ring back on in rare smiling snap

Ant McPartlin's ex-wife Lisa Armstrong put her wedding ring back on in an act of defiance and she liked another tweet about falling victim to the 'vilest betrayal'.

The make-up artist has been struggling to move on while her ex-husband of 12 years mends his heartache from their split with her former PA Anne-Marie Corbett.

Lisa, 41, deliberately drew attention to her flashy rock by resting her head on her hand when she posed for the snap while on set filming.

The behind-the-scenes Strictly star's make-up artist pal Alexia Jade shared a sweet collage of three photographs of Lisa on her Instagram with her 1,710 followers.

It will certainly raise eyebrows that one of the pictures surprisingly showed the divorced make-up artist with her wedding ring well and truly back on.

Despite the couple being estranged from each other for some time, Lisa was still wearing her wedding ring in August.

In October, the former flames were finally granted a divorce in a 30-second hearing after Ant admitted he committed adultery with his current love.

As well as wearing her wedding ring, Lisa showed she was still bruised by her lost love as she liked a tweet about the 'vilest betrayal'.  

She liked a tweet which read: 'I think your an inspiration to all wronged women you managed to hold your head high and maintain dignity in the face of the vilest betrayal.
