Cheryl released an exciting teaser of her new single, Love Made Me Do It on Instagram on Tuesday morning, as she made a dig at ex Liam Payne.
The 35-year-old shared a non-lyric based clip to Instagram, simply writing: '#LoveMadeMeDoIt, alongside a heart emoji, including the release date, 09.11.2018.'
And a press release for the single, revealed the playful lyrics: 'Oh my god, I’m such a sucker, I fall in love with every f***er.'
Cheryl also released new artwork and showcasing where she is at in her life right now, she sings : 'Love made me do it... and I’d do it again.'
Talking about her new song, she said: 'It’s something that anyone who’s been in love will be able to relate to in some way or another.
'It’s catchy and it’s fun. It’s not about one specific person or relationship, it’s more about me being the lover of love that I am. I just love love!'
The new single reunites Cheryl with former Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts, who co-wrote the track with Cheryl alongside her Only Human collaborators The Invisible Men.
In the short clip, she is surrounded by backing dancers as her silhouette gyrates and bends over backwards to a high-octane track.
Meanwhile, Cheryl, is said to be taking to The X Factor stage on Sunday, November 18, to debut her comeback single.
The pop star put her music career on ice following the release of her fourth album, Only Human, in 2014.
Cheryl last appeared on the show's stage as a performer during a 2014 episode, while she was also a judge on the series.
