Rio Ferdinand and Kate Wright have been spotted for the first time since the footballer's romantic proposal in Abu Dhabi.
Beaming with delight, the couple enjoyed a rather unconventional celebration as they headed to theme park Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, where they posed for a cosy selfie, before Rio tried the world's fastest rollercoaster.
While living it up at the theme park, Rio's 12-year-old son Lorenz praised his father after he proposed to his girlfriend Kate following two years of dating, while also thanking the star for all she has done for the family.
His delighted son took to the Instagram comments section to pen: 'So glad she said yes I'm so proud of you and Kate love you both so much', to which Rio responded: 'My boy is trying to make his dad all emotional and s**t'.
He also enjoyed an exchange with Kate as Lorenz penned: 'I was so close to slipping up the promise but other than that I am so proud of dad but especially Kate for the things she have done for us live u guys so much'.
She was clearly touched by the message as she responded saying: 'Oh Renz this made me cry we love you more', with a heart Emoji.
The former TOWIE star, 27, accepted the romantic rooftop proposal from the sports legend, 39, during a family holiday to Abu Dhabi after he popped the question.
