Kim Kardashian's daughter North West has landed her first cover shoot as she follows in the footsteps of her mother.
The eldest child of the reality star and Kanye West is lauded for her 'distinct fashion sense and eye for make-up by WWD Beauty Inc, for which North has also posed for a fashion shoot.
The publication says of the five-year-old: 'Here, she poses for her first solo cover. Her distinct fashion sense belies her age, and lately, so does her eye for makeup.'
In the images, North wears pink eye make-up, just weeks after Kim, 38, responded to criticism about her daughter wearing red lipstick.
Kim, who was releasing the lipstick, had hit back, saying: 'She picked it though! It’s a special occasion!'
Speaking previously of North's love for cosmetics in an interview with Refinery 29, recently Kim argued that while she lets her daughter experiment, she wants to make sure her use of make-up is 'appropriate' too.
The star argued: 'I don't think she should wear lashes or too dark of a lipstick. I want her to express herself, but I want her to be appropriate too.'
Kim continued: 'I already know North is into make-up for sure... when companies send make-up and I have a lot, I'll give it to her.'
The pictures of North accompany a piece on exploring Generations Z and Alpha and their impact on the global beauty industry.
The term Generation Alpha applies to children born between 2011 and 2025.
Generation X or Gen X is the demographic unit given to those preceding the Millennials.
Appearing on the magazine's first solo cover, North West, part of Generation Alpha was photographed by JUCO to represent what will become the largest generation by 2025.
The publication writes: 'She embodies the upcoming youthquake, having captivated the digital realm with her cross-generational appeal.'
A youthquake is 'a significant cultural, political, or social change arising from the actions or influence of young people.'
