The problems facing Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham this summer

Less than two weeks after playing in their first Champions League final the problems are already starting to mount up for Mauricio Pochettino and Tottenham.

To compound that defeat to Liverpool in Madrid, Christian Eriksen and Danny Rose both want to leave this summer, Dele Alli's form has stagnated and the squad is in desperate need of investment.

As Spurs look to capitalise on their memorable European run and prepare for the first full season in their new £1billion stadium, Sportsmail looks at some of the issues facing Pochettino this summer.

Star names leaving

There always seems to be players linked with a move away from the club. Whether it be Toby Alderweireld or Rose and Eriksen, the futures of the club's big names are always in doubt.

Rose sparked a potential bidding war for his services on Sunday when he admitted he could leave this summer while on international duty. Manchester United and Manchester City are both looking at him now he has rediscovered his best form.

While Rose's exit would be a blow, losing Eriksen to Real Madrid could be catastrophic. The Dane revealed last week how he is ready for a new challenge and Real are said to be keen while PSG are also interested.

Spurs have been linked with several midfielders as potential replacements but it would be tough to find an adequate replacement for their creative gem.
