Nigerians abroad share culture shock experience

 

Nigerians have taken to social media to share their culture shock experience after leaving the West African country.

Culture shock is an experience a person may have when one moves to a cultural environment which is different from one’s own; it is also the personal disorientation a person may feel when experiencing an unfamiliar way of life due to immigration or a visit to a new country, a move between social environments, or simply transition to another type of life.

Taking to Twitter, @binjoadeniran, asked Nigerians abroad to share their experience that sent them into waves of culture shock.

@eghonghonaye: They do usually schedule appointment to visit their brother and sister. Even their mummy and daddy. They will call, set time and then put it in their calendar. When they reach, they do also time themselves there. Hell fire.
