Founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc Atedo Peterside has knocked the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS) over a dinner held in Lokoja, Kogi State capital on Saturday in violation of Covid-19 protocols, Igbere TV reports.
Mr Peterside said in a tweet on Sunday that the women’s actions changed his mind about Nigerian women being more responsible than men.
“Re #COVID19, I honestly thought Nigerian women were far more responsible than us men until I saw photos from a recent NCWS gathering where safety protocols were violated openly,” he said.

At the interactive dinner for women in leadership from Kogi State, the NCWS confered Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello with the most gender-sensitive governor in Nigeria award.Mr Bello has repeatedly said COVID-19 is a scam initiated by politicians.
