Video: Prophet T Freddy Denies Exam Cheating Allegations

Goodness and Mercy Ministries founder Prophet T Freddy has responded to exam cheating allegations saying such reports are inaccurate and meant to tarnish his image.

An article that was published by Zim Morning Post recently alleged that Prophet T Freddy was caught cheating in a Theology exam at the Woman’s University of Africa.

In a statement, Prophet T Freddy said he is doing Bsc Degree in Sociology and Gender Development Studies adding that Women’s University in Africa (WUA) does not offer a Theology degree.

The self-styled prophet also said his lawyers have since written to Zim Morning Post to issue a retraction and an apology as their story has since gone viral on social media.

The prophet has threatened with legal action if the demands are not met in 48 Hours.

I note with concern the highly defamatory story published by Zim Morning Post which tarnishes my good name and that of Goodness and Mercy Ministries.

It boggles the mind why the reporter did not verify the information and seek my comment, causing the publication of falsehoods on social media and other online news websites putting the country’s higher and tertiary education system to disrepute.

It follows therefore that their inaccurate and unbalanced story was intended to tarnish my good name and that of Goodness and Mercy Ministries which has nothing to do with the matter. The news article does not conform to the ethical standards of professional journalism.

In the article, which was widely shared on various online news platforms and social media pages, Nigel Pfunde alleges that I am studying for a Theology degree with the Women’s University in Africa which is not true as I am studying towards a BSc degree in Sociology and Gender Development Studies.

To my knowledge, The university does not offer a Theology degree so to allege that I was caught cheating in a Theology exam is being mischievous.

The cheating which the reporter alleges did not occur anywhere as I finished writing exams on Friday, 19 March 2021 and did not cheat in any way.

The reporter has my personal number and we are friends on Facebook since 2017 but he never contacted me for a comment.

That he telephoned Goodness and Mercy Ministries purportedly seeking a comment despite having my contact numbers only shows that it was a smokescreen to cover up as the story was only published two hours later without any questions sent on my email address which was provided by my secretary.

The story which is in very bad taste is also an attack on the integrity of the noble journalism profession.

In that regard, my lawyers that is Mudimu Law chambers have since written to Zim Morning Post to issue a retraction and an apology in equal measure as their biased story has since gone viral on social media.

Failure to do so within 48 hours from the day of service (that is from 24th march 2021) will result in legal action.

Prophet T Freddy

(Goodness and Mercy Ministries founder and Visionary)
