A 17-year-old girl is currently in the custody of police after a man she met on online took her on a shopping spree before running away with an iPhone 11 pro from a phone shop in Ikeja, Lagos state.
She was caught an held by the shop orders who later invited the police.
It was gathered that the teenage girl had met the young man identified as CVC Nationz online, and promised to change her phone.
He took her to a phone shop in Lagos and stylishly absconded with a phone from the shop, leaving the young girl to settle the bill of over N300,000.
“This guy, he’s a thief. He took my junior sister to shop in Ikeja under the pretense they’re dating and wants to buy her a phone. He chose the phone and showed her if she wants it. After she said she wants it, this guy ran away with the phone. Now my sister is still at the police station, pls help us. 350k phone”.
