ABUJA, Sept 22 – President Bola Tinubu on Monday evening held a closed-door meeting with Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, at the State House in Abuja.
The meeting, which began around 7:00 p.m., is the first official engagement between the President and Governor Fubara since his reinstatement last Thursday, following the end of the six-month state of emergency imposed in Rivers State.
Governor Fubara was spotted entering the President’s office complex before the session commenced. While details of their discussion remain undisclosed, official statements are expected to be released later.
