'The penny didn't drop': Alex Jones, 39, admits she was unaware age could affect her chances of #conceiving a child

One Show presenter Alex Jones has revealed she was unaware age could impact on fertility.

The presenter, 39, explained the 'penny didn't drop' until she married her partner last December, while speaking at a conference at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, in London.

The Welsh star admitted she and husband Charlie Thompson haven't begun trying for a baby just yet, but said she hadn't realised the potential complications in fertility associated with her age until recently.
