Ched Evans rape trial live: Jury retires to consider verdict as footballer waits to learn his fate

Jurors in the Ched Evans rape trial have retired to consider their verdict.
The judge finished summarising evidence before the jury of seven women and five men this morning.
The 27-year-old footballer is on trial for a second time over allegations he attacked a 19-year-old woman at a Premier Inn near Rhyl, North Wales, in May 2011.
Prosecuting counsel Simon Medland QC told Cardiff Crown Court the Chesterfield FC player 'felt entitled' to have sex with his alleged victim regardless of what she would have wanted.
He also accused Evans of treating the teenager with "callous and self-centred indifference" during the alleged rape at a budget hotel in Rhyl in 2011.

Judith Khan QC, defending Evans', told the court that he had been "immature" but said there was “nothing sinister” about what her defendant did at the Premier Inn.
Evans was previously found guilty of rape but this conviction was later quashed by the Court of Appeal.
He denies raping the teenager in the hotel in Rhuddlan, North Wales, after a night out in May 2011.
Mrs Justice Nicola Davies will continue summarising the evidence heard today.
