Kym Marsh, 42, REFUSES to be called Granny, Grandma or Nanny

Kym Marsh has revealed she is banning her pregnant daughter Emilie Cunliffe's unborn child from calling her granny, nanny or grandma.

The 42-year-old Coronation Street star announced the 21-year-old's pregnancy late last year and has now spoken candidly about the imminent arrival on Friday's episode of This Morning - much to the delight of tickled viewers.

Speaking alongside her daughter on the show, the pop star turned actress said: 'I can't... no way I'm being a grandmother or granny or nanny. We looked up names on the internet. I'm going to be Lolly.'

This Morning host Eamonn Holmes then said: 'Lolly - you certainly will be the most glamorous granny out there. A luscious Lolly', while excited Kym then replied: 'Luscious Lolly? I'm going with that one.'

Speaking on the show, the mother-daughter duo weighed in on Elimie's pregnancy and the age she got pregnant compared to her mum's young pregnancies.

Kym, who is also mother to David, 23, and Polly, seven, said: 'Well I'm so excited obviously! It was initially a shock and wasn't necessarily something I was expecting quite so soon but I'm ecstatic...

'You're behind! My mum was 18 when she had my eldest brother, my sister was 18, I was 18 when I had David. You've done quite well!'
