Timi Dakolo has paid tribute to Gospel singer, Eric Arubayi Jnr who passed away three years ago.
The gospel singer and West African idol star died on the 11th of February, 2017 due to complications arising from taking fake anti-malaria tablets. His death was a shock to Timi who had a special bond with the late singer and over the years, the singer has paid tribute to the singer.
Today, the 11th of February, 2020 is Eric’s third death anniversary and the “Iyawo Mi” singer to his Instagram page to pay tribute with an open letter. He revealed that he misses him every day and is only trying to stay strong. He added that his son, Jayden, and wife, Chinonso are doing well and can’t wait to sit and gossip with him soon.
He wrote:“Hey soldier, i miss you everytime o.still doesn’t make sense at all but are we are still holding it down on this side,Saving some aproko for you for later later.
