Yet LaToya Jackson seemed to make a bold statement as she once again sported a huge ring on her engagement finger while heading to Madeo restaurant to celebrate her 60th birthday in West Hollywood on Sunday evening.
The 60-year-old sister of late pop legend Michael Jackson was rocking an eye-watering diamond, albeit not her ring from Jeffré, as she made a glamorous arrival at the eatery.
Jeffré proposed in 2013 with a ring bearing a 10 carat round stone in the center, surrounded by 7.5 carats in round diamonds set in a platinum band.
The pair became engaged in 2013, but revealed earlier this year that they had called off their engagement, when LaToya told TMZ: 'We are not engaged anymore.'
LaToya has remained close to her former fiancé, but it is not clear if he or any members of her famous family were present at the birthday meal on Sunday night.
It was reported at the time of the proposal that he popped the question while vacationing in Hawaii after their working relationship - Jeffré is her business partner - turned romantic before the split.
