Buhari, who arrived at about 10:43a.m aboard Air Force flight 5N-FGW, was received by Gov. Adams Oshiomhole.
He inspected a guard of honour mounted by military personnel before he proceeded to the palace of the Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare N’gidigan II, on a courtesy visit.
Some of the dignitaries at the airport included John Oyegun, the APC National Chairman, Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, Mr Godwin Obaseki, the state governor-elect, service commanders, lawmakers, and other party leaders.
