Low: Germany Still Undergoing Construction, After World Cup Flop

Joachim Low claim his Germany squad are still a work in progress, after their forgettable outing at the 2018 World Cup.

The Germans won their first match since the event in Russia, coming from behind to beat Peru 2-1.

Low hailed his men for not giving up in that encounter, as Julian Brandt and Schulz scored for Die Meinschaft.

“I’m glad that we won the game,” Germany head coach Low told RTL.

“We felt that the team wanted to win the match, they fought until the end.

“We missed a lot of chances in the first half. That was the problem. The substitutions made the rhythm a bit broken. The balance is not yet 100 per cent.”
