The shamed actress was one of nine new contestants to take part in survivalist Bear Grylls endurance based reality show, filmed one a remote islands prior to her disastrous appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.
But viewers had a laugh at her expense on Sunday after Eric Roberts – the brother of Hollywood superstar Julia Roberts – accused her of playacting following a series of perceived panic attacks, including one memorable meltdown prompted by a beach fire that she claimed triggered memories of a traumatic house blaze when she was a teenager.
Dismissing the 35-year old - who left the island after five days as a result of the flashback - an unimpressed Roberts muttered: ‘That story – when’s the movie out?’
The throwaway comment resonated with viewers, and many praised Roberts for seeing through Pallett so soon, while others routinely mocked the British actress - who quit the Island after just five days.
‘Eric and Roxanne sussed out within the first few days just how Hardeep did too,’ wrote one.
A second added: 'Eric Roberts after hearing Roxanne tears and drama on the Island... 'that story...when's the movie coming out?'. True talk pre-CBB.'

During the show Roxanne also swam out to sea in search of fish for the group to eat, which results in her catching her feet in a net and screaming for help.
