After Julen Lopetegui was sacked as Real Madrid boss after just 14 games, Captain of the club Sergio Ramos has said that the club’s players were to blame for this.
Sergio Ramos was reportedly instrumental in recommending Julen Lopetegui for the role after previously working underneath him during his tenure as the coach of the Spanish national team.
Santiago Solari, the manager of the reserve Castilla side, has been placed in temporary charge at the Bernabeu to replace Lopetegui, who was sacked after a 5-1 loss to Barcelona.
In a tweet he wrote: ”We’re aware and feel responsible for this situation. But this is no time to talk, it’s time to act. Today’s the first step #HalaMadrid ”
